Norman Richards studied Computer Science at University of Texas at Austin and has been a professional programmer for nearly 20 years. During this time, he has worked for countless startups, authored 3 programming books, written for several programming magazines and traveled the world, going as far as Brazil and China, to speak and teach. In his spare time he helps run several local developer meetups and teaches programming classes at Austin Community College. He is also the instructor for Westwood High School's Girls Who Code club.

Brian Baird was born in Scotland and was captivated with computers &
games since getting a Sinclair ZX-81. He graduated with a BSc in
Computer Science from the University of Strathclyde. He has almost 20 years experience of working in the videogame industry using C/C++, working on games as varied as Grand Theft Auto, Pictureka Museum Mayhem, Star Wars Force Unleashed & The Old Republic, and more. In the role of gameplay engineering, his focus tends to be empowering designers through scripting & design systems, and player character animation/movement systems. He is currently employed as a senior gameplay engineer at BattleCry Studios in Austin, TX. He has two children, including a daughter who is thoroughly enjoying Scratch & CoderDojo.

Supriya Bansal came to this country for higher studies and thereafter took software development as her profession. She has always been keen in solving logical problems which is now being utilized in her daily job as a full stack developer in Dell. During her time as a graduate student, she became highly interested in learning about the web technologies. Later she got involved in mentoring web based development to the undergrad students for a year. Before moving to Austin she worked immensely on university and government related web development.

Andy James grew up outside of Baltimore, MD. He graduated from RIT (Rochester Institute of Technology) in 2007 with both his BS and MS in Computer Engineering. Since then, he's spent time in the industry working as a government contractor and most recently at Google doing software engineering on internal projects for the Google for Work operations team.

Patrick Bell is a Junior at Westwood High School in Austin. He has been programming and tinkering with computer hardware ever since he can remember. 7 years of Lua and a bit 'on and off again' messing with Unity, Scratch and Game Maker has shown him that any problem is solvable with code if one has the creativity and drive to learn.
Amanda Chang is a recent Austin transplant working as a software developer at Tugg Inc. Amanda majored in Theater Studies at Yale University, focusing particularly on how theater-makers can use projections and technology to develop innovative works. Before moving to Austin, she worked as a web development instructor at the Flatiron School. Her favorite programming language is Ruby because of its elegance (MINSWAN!)
Robert Daniels serves as the principal investigator on DoD contracts at Kuma. His background is in the theory of wireless communications and its practical application, in particular as it applies to the physical layer design of multiple-antenna wireless communication systems. He has been the sole architect of several RF-proven physical layer implementations for various standards, including IEEE 802.11n and the Wideband Networking Waveform (WNW). Dr. Daniels is also an expert on the design of millimeter-wave communications systems and is the co-author of the textbook “Millimeter-wave Wireless Communications Systems” published by Prentice Hall in September of 2014. He holds B.S. degrees in Electrical Engineering and Mathematics from The Pennsylvania State University and M.S.E. and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical and Computer Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin.
Cynthia Chebultz brings 24 years of web design, development, management and marketing experience to her role as a Digital Marketing Strategist. She is an accomplished Web Developer, SEO Strategist, PPC Analyst, Social Media Analyst, and National Speaker. She is the Founder and CEO at CLStudio.com.
Kyle Wickert is currently working as a Gameplay Programmer at Battlecry Studios in Austin, TX. Originally from Oregon, he came to Texas to attend SMU and earn his master's in computer science. Out of school he immediately got a job working on the thing that he loved most growing up, video games. He is incredibly privileged to work in such a unique and challenging field. He owes that good fortune to his interest in video games, coding, and hard work, It's an amazing thing to love one's work and he wants to empower younger generations to do the same. Programming is a valuable skill in just about any field once can think of, any dream becomes more attainable with an ability to program. Those who learn to use it have an incredible advantage in our society. He thinks it's a very admirable service to give kids a chance to explore such a rewarding field and he can't wait to help!
